Trains 21 July

lol it was 'word of the day' last week and I really like it; even though I did not know the true meaning at first. I got corrected and now I think I'm using it properly. The meaning is: -

1. A complicated and embarrassing state of things.
2. A confused or complicated disagreement or misunderstanding.
3. An intricate, complicated plot, as of a drama or work of fiction.
4. A confused mass; a tangle.

Jon, I'm the same with "genufluct" - I love it! Was my word of the day a few years back and am using it all the time

Now it sounds like a wrestling move!

"She's got him in a classic imbroglio and he's going to have to concede before he suffocates"

Do you often genuflect before Ben then? ;)

I find it odd that there is no mention of these strikes on the news or on any of the news websites i.e. bbc or sky news, nor is there any mention of it in the papers...

The only strike they mention is about south west trains from waterloo on the 27th 28th and sometime in august....
