I'll almost certainly (and sadly) never hear any of these out but if any of YOU do, enjoy:
5 very diverse picks for the weekend:
one serious bassline c/o the great David Holmes (not 100% sold on the vocal but can't have it all)
a philosophy class from the poet Joshua Idehen, which will either make you laugh or make your teeth itch. Either way, it's certainly different!
rare and soon to be repressed late era NYC disco c/o Patrick Cowley (featuring a Doors cover!)
emerging London talent Jelani Blackman taking house forward, injecting a bit of much needed grittiness
a dark and dingy remix of Tokyo-based chillout maestro Max Essa, with a more psych/chug feel, which is still where I'm mainly at these days
