Tracks for 2012

The Golden Filter - Kill Me (John Talabot's Killed in Room 161 Refix)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnbLW4wwCFg

Could almost call it deep house but it's Æ’in - if you know what I mean. Will get rinsed in the land of nouse.

"Mildly downtempo cut.. Talabot develops gorgeous, tastefully Balearic synth swirls over a simple house bassline and Golden Filter vocalist Penelope Trappes' loose serenade."

Ali Wilson & Lee Osborne - Armageddon

A somewhat awesome track

Great tune indeed. Is the opening track in my next podcast. Love the work these 2 are doing at the moment.

Tunes for me? Definitely...

Super8 & Tab - Awakenings (Tritonal Remix)

Richard Durand - Chopstick

Stonevalley - Hybrid

All awesome!

the two standout tracks I've heard this year thus far

1. bryan ferry - alphaville - todd terje rmx

2. backwoods - cloud9 - stallions rmx

amazeballs production on both

really liking the sound of blondes, vakula, beautiful swimmers, marcus marr, massimiliano pagliara too

Really liking the stallions remix of Backwoods there. So chilled yet euphoric!

Bring on the SUmmer after hearing that.

^^ tugs the emotions after a mesy night that one - the riff is basically just straight early Sasha piano house set on the 'floaty vibra' channel, though isn't it ? Came out a couple of years ago !

OK this is either really brave or really stupid of me because it will take me completely out of my Trance DJing comfort zone, but I'm going to take a selection of the best suggestions in this thread and fashion them into a set. I'll make it part of my Ibiza specials series for my podcast in the summer...

So keep the suggestions rolling...

I was listening to the We Love Ibiza podcast yesterday evening. There was a mix by Alfredo and Jamie and there were some absolutely f*cking rocking tunes in that set. If only I could find out what some of them were called. The fact they don't release tracklists for the podcast is a major annoyance.
