A plea for help on behalf of a friend. What are the most fashionable clubs in the UK's major cities? The brief she's got is that the clubs should be full of 'trend-setters'...

She's got London covered, but can you help with info on the city you live in?

Thanks very much! :D :D

Birmingham:-

Air (hosts God Kitchen)
Bambu (hosts Fuel & Hed Kandi)
Dragon Eye (Hosts Hidden / Defected)
Club HQ (hosts Miss Money Pennys)

are godskitchen trance types trendsetters?

just a thought.. :?:

Godskitchen isn't just trance anymore, they'ved moved to Saturdays and it's more of a combination of the old Gods and the old Babooshka. Some wks it's trance, sometimes house, sometimes prog etc.

It's the best club in Birmingham by far imo and the crowd is normally pretty good, the other ones I've been to have just been glorified Ritzys

Brighton:

Audio
The Honey Club
The Zap
The Beach
The Ocean Rooms
Concorde 2

Zap's closed, non? And isn't beach Poptastic, rather than trendsetting?

Will bow to your local knowledge, mine is from sporadic weekends...

Just asked for clarification on whether she's looking for cutting edge trendy or more mainstream and the answer is "glam rather than underground trendy - high-maintenance trendy where people really make the effort when they go out."

Thanks everyone for your help. xx

Is this for one of the HMWs  ;)

Ditch Sankeys then.

London

Friday night at Movida
Saturday night at China Whites

If glam trendy is your thing then these are the places to be. Damn hard to get into though.

@ Buckley, yep my bad, Zaps done, forgot about that! and i havent been to the beach in years so not to sure if its a ''trendsetter''

@ Barbie, The Ocean Rooms has PimpBitchDisko with Residents and speacial Guest Freemason on November 5th

Audio i havent seen the listings for yet but will keep my eyes open for you.

Concorde 2 has a mixed night of House, Drum and Bass, Electro and hip hop

i would recommend Audio, usually awesome!

Friday 4th @ Honey Club isnt Hed Kandi which means its nothing special then.

I suggest you combine your treck down with witnessing Lewes Bonfire night on Nov 5th, its quite an experience!
