Toolroom Knights in Ibiza??? Gonna be announcing dates/line-ups and most importantly the venue real soon. Watch this Space!! via Mark Knight's twitter account this morning

I'm guessing its gonna be at Sankeys or a number of dates @ Space as part of Come Together....maybe?
 
just been reading an article on another website about ibiza and there was an iterview from Juan Arena and he talks about the nights on at space. He goes on to say as follows..........


and "Mondays Calling" will see collaborations with Roger Sanchez (Release Yourself) and Mark Knight (Toolroom).

Jesus, both (Sanchez & Knight) on the same night would be wicked! Roger on the terrace and Toolroom in the Main Room! On the other hand a difficult date due to Cocoon/Circo Loco/Tiesto/Swedes!

Wow.

If thats true then I'm lovin' the Space weekly schedule this year. Shame I don't think I'll be there to be a part of it.

Monday's in Ibiza have historically been ruled by the minimal, underground sounds of techno or overrun by confetti, glitter and the slightly more commercial sounds of dance. There's never been a Monday night party offering people on the island a musical alternative, a sound that crosses both. That is until now…

This summer, Toolroom's music making machine Mark Knight, brings the notorious Toolroom Knights to Monday's Calling at Space Ibiza for an exciting new residency, launching June 27th, and with it a selection of the label's most talented DJ's for a more musically orientated party based on substance not hype.

Hosting 10 parties throughout the season, Mark Knight will be joined by some very special guests to include: Fedde le Grand, Sander van Doorn, Tocadisco, Chris Lake, D.Ramirez, John Dahlback and in keeping with Toolroom's mantra, which has always been to support new talent, you will also find the hottest new producers and DJ's of 2011, including Jaguar Skills, Stefano Noferini, EDX, Kim Fai, Michael Woods….

On his pending Ibiza invasion Mark Knight had this to say… ‘I made up my mind that 2011 would be the year to bring the signature sound of Toolroom to Ibiza with a solid summer residency and Space seemed like the perfect place to start building.

I've always loved the club having played there for many years… the sound system, the vibe, the people. Space Ibiza has always been about the music, and in my eyes seemed like a natural fit for Toolroom Knights.

This season our main aim is to create an altogether true Ibiza experience, presenting the most talented DJ's and producers from all around the world and most importantly keeping ticket prices at a reasonable cost'

Toolroom Knights Ibiza starts Monday 27th June, and in keeping with island tradition the fiesta begins as the sun goes down with a free pre-party throughout the season at the new Café Del Mar on the Sunset Strip

Roger told my friend who opened up for him recently that he was just playing a few select dates this summer.... make of that what you want... note there are a few mondays that are not booked on that schedule so maybe those will be Release Yourself nights?
 
You know what? I actually think this is going to work....
It's at the right time!
The sound is going back to House, Tiesto is slipping, SHM... well they will probably still sell out.... Cocoon.... hopefully better this year....
A Toolroom Night in a strange way is more appealing on a Monday than any other night...

Think I'll be heading there instead of SHM now, particularly after hearing the price of the tickets!
 
Sanchez just revealed his Ibiza dates. He only plays four times at Space. For instance on the 12th September, which isnt (according to the flyer) a Toolroom Knight date...
So no Release Yourself this year:(
