Tips for Lisbon

We just got back on Tuesday after 5 days so i'm well placed for this!

Tips:
Get one of the tickets that does Bus, Metro and Train. We did this in Berlin but didn't realise you could do this in Lisboa until it was too late!

The Number 12 retro tram from Martim Moniz does a similar route to the Number 28 but the queue is much smaller

Do a beach day! We got the train to Carcavelos as we were advised it was a less windy beach than the others. Don't forget your speaker.

Sintra is 30 mins on the train and is very beautiful. If you go to the palace I advise a tuktuk (€10-15) to the top as its very steep uphill, and you can walk down and find some hidden tapas gems on the way down.

The nice areas of the centre are the Alfama District and Baixa-Chiado - pack comfortable shoes as its easy to do 20k steps a day

Must-do's are the Banksy Museum and Green Street (A place called Roots the food and the green wine were delicious)

We didn't think much of Pink Street it was a bit rowdy but they do have a place where they give you a free shot if you give them your bra (I had forgotten mine)

Enjoy!
