Are there any rumours about Tiesto playing ibiza at all in 2014? Even maybe just a one off date?

His privilege days were amazing (saw him there in 09’ and 10’). Last saw him in Pacha there in 2012 and wasn’t convinced that was the best venue for him.
Did he even play at all during 2013?

I'd love to see him there again :-(
 
He was'nt there at 2013.. He was focused on hi Vegas residency and did'nt want to do the flights on a weekly basis. He said that he needs a break after a 10 consecutive seasons in Ibiza, and it would probably stay like this on 2014...
 
I think Tiesto has priced himself out of Ibiza in my view. Liking neither Trance or EDM I am hardly a suitable commentator on it, but my view is that he was a trance DJ who performed to 5,000-10,000 people at Priviledge, he got on the EDM bandwagon, changed his sound and entered a saturated DJ market where quite simply there are better DJs than him in the EDM space. He refused to lower his fees, changed his sound and still couldn't sell-out Pacha Ibiza (3,000). As such Vegas is perfect for him as they probably think he is good and will still pay him. Also, his comments about Ibiza clubs having not changed in over 10 years was totally mis-guided and he probably pi**sed a lot of people off! However, I am sure Ushuaia could always fit him into their "EDM Summer 2014 Extravaganza"....
 
I agree with most of what you say.....although he got me into the scene and I do like his new and old music anyway so I would love to see him in Ibiza.

A one off show in Ushuaia in August would suit me fine!!
 
I don't have the time or need to search for it. Im sure if you search his timeline you'll find it easy enough Ben,.
 
I saw his tweet saying moving his residency from ibiza to vegas was the best thing he ever did. But I didn't seem him ruling out ibiza completely. Although I guess if last year is anything to go by then I guess he won't be coming.

Hopefully he will do a show in London in the summer.

So I didn't miss it then, as I couldn't find it haha. Vegas suits Tiesto more now. Top dolla.
 
Yeah....my plan is to go to Vegas next year...so no doubt will see him then!

Although Tiesto + Privilege 2010 still holds fond memories which I would love to relive :-(
 
Vegas fits Tiesto now.

1) Horrible music
2) Big paychecks and champagne bottles
3) Clueless sluts and cunts
4) Loads of toolbags telling him how great he is.
 
I just came from a weekend in Vegas (first time mind you as well). Place is a cheap pre-packaged holiday imo. The clubbing game over there is so screwed up its not even funny.

I dont gamble just thought I would check it out over the weekend and it's definitely not my favorite place!
 
He's having big success on the mainstream charts with 'Red Lights' and Ushuaia just put on Facebook that they have a big announcement to make tonight...
