Yeah, makes perfect sense.
I know workers who used to go there in 2001 when hardly anyone knew about it and they say it was a proper freak show back then - anything goes kind of afters joint.
I guess when people get to know about places like DC 10 they become too popular and that's when the problems start - you could say the same about Zoo Project now.
I think DC-10 has behaved in a better manner than Zoo Project and dealt with the inevitable commercialisation pretty well. At least at DC-10 tickets have remained pretty reasonable for the DJs you're seeing and the hours involved. Zoo were charging £60 at some parties during high season last year, + Zoo now confiscate cameras and charge for the lockers (****ers). I probably won't do Zoo on a Sat again now.

I'd say go to DC-10 and then to Cocoon if you're prepared for a messy, chaotic and ever so slightly grimey environment. If you wouldn't enjoy the people / music / atmosphere then perhaps don't bother.
Also as an aside, I realised that in August when I went for 15 days I went to DC-10 far more than anywhere else. Circo Loco on the first Monday, then Dubfire, Squillace and Bachetti on the Wednesday, Tania Vulcano Pandemonium on the Friday, Circo Loco again on the next Monday and then another Pandemonium on the second Fri.
The people/atmosphere/prices/music mean I could probably go to Ibiza and exclusively hit DC-10 and have a great holiday. The only other club I have similar love for is Amnesia.
