Thunderstorms

Maybe i'm a big child but i absolutely love tropical storms and thunderstorms and the like, So i'm wondering do you get many in ibiza? I'm getting there on the 3rd and im hoping to see some Any chance?

Thunderstorm season Ibiza is predominantly in June and July so unfortunately you've missed out.

First two weeks of Sept are normally pretty good for storms out there...

September a few years back when we were there for 2 weeks and we had first few days overcast and one hell of a thunderstorm complete with the most amzing lightning I have ever seen.

We had the hotels staff pulling us inside as they thought we were mad standing out watching San An. from the bay.

normally it is end of august/early september.. the build up of heat and humidity normally gives a couple of electric storms.. but ibiza is quite a lucky island we dont really get a rainy time as such.. normally may to november is blue skys 90% of the time.. the odd storm is usually at night xx doesnt linger

We have traditionally gone for the first week(s) of September and have seen some absolute thumpers. Sat on the balcony looking out over the sea and across to Ibiza Town during a storm is rather special.
