Thunderstorms

Was at bora bora in July and all of a sudden there was a massive thunderstorm. Gordon Edge whacked on moby "Raining Again" !!! twas rocking! 8)
 
oh yeah, august thunderstorms are always a good laugh!! 8O :lol: 8O

Some thunderstorms and heavy rain today. Went cycling down the coast adjacent to Es Vedra, the lightning was amazing.

it was indeed! we were just having dinner on the balcony of l'elephant and the light show was gorgeous 8)
 
My little sis went to Ibiza for the first time last week, she rang me up last night saying she's having an amazing time etc etc but went 'how come you didn't tell me it rains in Ibiza' :lol:
 
I got soaked last night on the boat from the Marina back to PDB. Started when I was finishing my meal at Angelo (my new favourite Ibiza restaurant). Quite something, thought it was fireworks at first!

Crikey, can't believe that was only last night. :cry:

Storms Come 2 Weeks Early.
The recent storms & rainfall on Ibiza have surprised the weather men on the island as they have arrived at the beginning of August rather than at the end as is more the norm for the islands. Recordings of over 1.60litres of rainfall per square metre have been recorded at the airport in Ibiza but the showers have been on & off with certain areas experiencing no rainfall at all. When it has rained intensely, the rain has caused lots of problems on the roads as the surfaces became waterlogged in some places & dangerously slippery. Hopefully the weather is now going to improve for the rest of the month & the sunshine will return with vengeance.
