This Weekend in London

Probably hitting the smoke this weekend and wanting recommendations on where to go. Jeff Mills is on at The End, I've never seen him before. Is he any good? What's the Vertigo night at Ministry like? Personally I like all types of dance, but the people I'm with probably prefer something a bit more funky. Acid would be good too.

Claudio Coccoluto will be good @ Ministry plus if your friends don't like it in the Box you've always got the Bar which tends to be more funky. The last Vertigo was when I was in Ibiza but people said it was a blinding night.
 
Cheers Barbie. The fact there's a choice of room was already swaying me towards Ministry. If I don't come up with something good my so-called-funky-friends are suggesting Judge Jules 8O :lol:

I was there!...and it was pretty average. Nowhere near as good as the one before it at Pacha.

Babs - here's something I'd be really interested to know...I've never known anybody go to the Ministry as frequently as you do after all!

How do the nights vary from week to week atmosphere wise? Are the crowds significantly different between nights like NastyDirty/Southport/Defected etc? Or is it pretty much the same except busier sometimes?

What are you trying to say :lol: ;)

Imo the atmosphere and crowd does vary a bit depending on who's playing but not massively, Nastydirtysexmusic is best crowd and atmosphere imo but then say the week before for Delboy, that was a wicked atmosphere too. The old Soul Heaven (rip :cry: ), now Southport nights always attract good crowd. The only nights I never used to be that keen on were Defected (cept when they had people like Krivit etc) there cos the likes of Sandy Rivera etc tended to attract a bit more of the Pacha crowd which is why they're way more suited there now :lol:

Tbh in the nearly 6 years I've lived in London Town I dread to think how many times I've been to Ministry 8O to all the different nights and I've never ever had anything that even closely resembles a bad night at any of them :D
