This may seem like an odd post but.... How is the wheelchair accessibility in Ibiza?

I was just curious and many of you may not know or may not pay much attention but.... I was wondering how accessible the island is to wheelchairs. I was in a motorcycle accident recently and while the paralysis may not be permanent I still want to go out and do ****. I have been trying to plan a trip to Ibiza for like two years and something always comes up and I will be damned if I let this get in the way, so with that said.... Are there stairs in most of the clubs, around the clubs, etc? Does anyone who has been recall seeing anyone in a wheelchair lol...

there are quit a lot of ramps etc - so going around with a wheelchair
shouldn´t be a problem:

ps:
i wish you all the best with a quick recovery :D

I reckon you would get on fine in Eden, El Divino and Amnesia, most rooms in Space should be OK too, although you might have problems with the roof terrace and red box. Privilege could be promblematic as there is a serious slope up to the door and loads of steps inside, Pacha has its share of steps too but in the global room and most of the main room this is generally only two or three at a time, serious difficulties only arise when it comes to the roof terrace or funky room.

Wouldn't have thought El Div would be a good choice really... There's stairs before you even get in and no toilets on ground level... You may be OK on a quieter night but would have a nightmare on the busier ones...

Well hopefully I will be moved up to a walker by the time I get there only problem with that is going to be carrying all my stuff around lol but I think I will manage. Ya that was something I was dreading I have tried to go to local clubs when they are packed in my chair and its a pain people just look right over the top of you then they usually end up gettin ran over ha ha... I dont care I cant wait...

i'll echo what's been said.........i think you will be fine in nearly all the clubs in ibiza.

- amnesia is pretty much all one level (aside from the VIP), with only a few steps around the club
- space, all the main rooms are accessible on the same level with no steps, and they have lots of ramps too
- eden has a main dancefloor that is lower than the entrance but the ground level is still part of the main room/club
- pacha's main room and global room are accessible by various entrances on the ground floor........it would be difficult getting to the funky room tho or the terrace
- dc10 is all the same level pretty much
- privilege is the biggest problem. the main entrance has a descent of c.20 steps or there is an area behind the VIP as you enter which is all at the same level, but this would mean you would be stuck in the same place in a huge club. access from behind privilege is no better as you have to go up steps to get in and from the side it is the same, there is an entrance that is to the side of the dancers' dressing room but 10-15 steps below the main room
- es paradis, if you go there, is fairly accessible on the same level.

good luck!:D
