The message says unable to connect to google earh servers to activate your account. please verify that your internet is working...blah blah blah. Gives this error when i run googl earth.

I can't get it running in the office. It never finishes the login process and the program just freezes up.

Maybe it's a firewall issue? Guess I'll have to try it at home.

Update: I turned off the DirectX version and now it works! I just zoomed in on my office! Totally wild.

I wonder when they built this... it was obviously several months ago because there's still the temporary building for the construction project next door, which they've already dismantled. Still, very cool.

Ya... not that exciting. Though you notice that they have lines painted across it (for military parades? ) which you don't really notice when you walk across it.

I've since zoomed in on the house I grew up in outside DC, and my high school. Nearly brought me to tears! ah, nostalgia.

My car is still outside my parents' house. Must have been taken before my dad wrecked it.
