i need a visual metaphor for SOURCING & PRODUCTION

at the moment the ideal visual of a group of leafcutter ants isnt geling with the other 9 visuals im proposing - mainly cos everything else is predominantly man made objects.

its for a brochure for a client who makes software for fashion and lifestyle businesses.

I really like old bits of massive engineering like that too but I'm a bit weird. I think old disused factories are the most beautiful and saddest things ever.
