Yes, it's my new Morphy Richards 'Tea am' :lol:

It makes tea and coffee, wakes you up with an am/fm radio and/or loud buzzer and can be used independently as a stand alone drinks maker!
The www.teasmade.com website says it's a must for any teasmaid enthusiast! :lol:

(((It cost me £56 - I can't wait for it to arrive! But can you believe I'm buying myself ridiculous things like teasmaids this side of xmas when I've not even moved into my flat yet?)))

Sorry to completely hijack the thread again but today it's all about me and my new Morphy Richards! ;) :lol:
 
I don't really understand why some people (and all present company excluded, of course ;) - but including a lot of my best friends) say 'it's all about the music', yet can't go clubbing without taking drugs? I don't agree that the two have to be so linked, if I want some time off the bad stuff, I can still go clubbing! :) :) I get quite annoyed with my buddies when they pike out on going out because they don't want to imbibe any class As - we can still go out and have fun guys!!!

I can't do the 2 day benders without a bit of help, but going to see a great DJ, dancing until 5 or 6 and then home to bed - I can do that on a can of redbull and a few vodka tonics and I know they can too! :)

I'm not a club music fan so for me a big night out is more about "la fiesta" than the music.
THen you have people who really likes club music but after spending 10 years linking music and drugs can't make it without it, quite normal after 10 years

When is it going to be delivered?? Have you thought thru the fact that it's probably going to be delivered whil you're at work and then it will be taken to the post office for you to collect, if I was you I'd book a day off work so you can receive it properly :lol:

It's lovely. :D So the idea is that it wakes you up with a cup of tea first thing? How delightful. That's like the second nicest possible way to be woken up of a morning. I think I need one. :lol:

Well, when those horrible reprobates start torturing and burning you to keep you awake you know you're always welcome at the Penthouse Bunker to catch up on a bit of gollum beauty sleep...AND, not only that but at the press of a button, you'll be woken up by radio four and a piping hot cup of fortnum and masons English Breakfast tea! :D :lol:

I've made it as far as noon on just alcohol 8) Normally, it's 7ish though.

I'm not so into 2 day benders - I think you have more fun with 2 separate 12-hour nights out (with a bit of sleep and food between) than one 24 hour marathon.

You've got to have great tunes though. Case in point - this past Friday I was about to bail at 3 until a new DJ came on and rocked and so I kept going.
 
It's all about moderation. I normally go out about once every three weeks, but if I'm feeling a bit down or feel my weekends are getting on top of me a bit, I'll take a couple of months off.

I'm 22 now and have been clubbing since I was 16 so I do feel like a bit of a ripened old pear on the clubbing scene (nothing compared to some people I know!). TBH I think as I get older I will go out less and save it for the big nights.

If you are feeling a bit worse for wear as a result of your weekends then take some time off!

Your quite right to be excited about the arrival of your "Tea am" Robder. I've made the well informed choice of buying one a month ago and I can't tell you what a delight it is to wake up every morning to my favourite breakfast radio show and a steaming cuppa!!! Enjoy!
