Alderley Edge and Lake Coniston....spooky places man 8O

Alderley Edge spooky? Are there ley lines that attract Man U players and birds who want to shag them them?

Any of the 'super' gas stations in the middle of nowhere on I-70 in Kansas... I swear they are like redneck paradise. Hunting camo, redneck hats, stupid random trinkets, and of course every snack food your mind could conceive, all in one hillbilly meca that you could spend hours in laughing at the realization that every single redneck joke you have ever heard is absolutely true... Seriously, it is one part of America that would shock the hell out of any European, I mean it shocked me and I'm from here!!!

Tyson, if you want to see weird you should head up to Gold Hill. It's about 10 miles outside Boulder up Mapleton Dr (turns into Sunshine Canyon). Very Bizarre old mining town. If you continue just a bit past the town you'll see all these cults up there like the "Truth Concsiousness Church". The place is absolutely weird but at the same time extremely picturesque.

I've been there a few times, we go up there to camp a couple times each summer, and by camp I mean a bunch of us get wasted in the woods... You are right, I think the altitude and fresh air makes mountain folk crazy!! Def some weird people in Gold Hill

Not so much Ley lines, more 5 bed detatched houses and Aston Martins.

Anyway, i mean "the edge" itself.

I'd hardly call Lukashenko the last dictator in the world. That's the negative PR doled out by the EU and the US governments (and press). \.

i think she meant to say 'last dictator in europe', that's what the press call lukashenko ;)

i've hardly been to any weird places at all... above the northpole in finland is a bit special, and miami was rather funny in a fake kind of a way

Cortez, Colorado or Dubuque, Iowa
Dundee, Scotland
London - very wierd and it smells
Tangiers, Morocco and Algeciras, Spain - the two armpits of the world
Brasilia, Brazil - wierd in an interesting sense of the word
Alberobello, Italy - ditto

Cleveland, Ohio - very wierd and inhospitable. No wonder the lake caught on fire some years ago!!!
