Having spent 13 years working in the Balearics including 8 years as resident DJ for Judgement Sundays, 2 years as resident DJ and promoter for UltraViolet, 10 years as resident DJ and Promoter of Charlys Angelz, 1 year as resident DJ and PR Manager for Back to Front at Eden and Tonic on the Terrace at Space, 1 year running the PR for Floorfillers at Eden, 1 year helping with promotions at El Divino, 6 years as weekly resident and promoter at Angelz of Funk at BCM in Majorca, 9 years of weekly boat parties and obviously year upon year of non stop San Antonio antics – this year brings my biggest and most challenging change of all. Just a few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be offered the role as the Stage Manager at Ushuaia in Playa D'en Bossa and whilst you won't be seeing me as regularly behind the decks playing in Ibiza for summer 2013, you'll be seeing me helping to organise the decks of one of the biggest and best clubs in Ibiza if not the world. I already started work in my new position last Friday and we have our opening party this Saturday 25th May with an absolutely colossal lineup. Am so excited to be working as part of a new team at an amazing club, and I hope I'll see many of you throughout the summer partying on this side of the isle where I'll be stationed ;-) . In the meantime, it goes without saying that you'll still see me out and about in San An at my fave nights there and indeed around the island when and if I get the chance. This also isn't the end of Vicky Devine of course. I have lots of new things up my sleeve and of course my productions, DE:VA label, DE:VA radio show and all else will continue as normal. Its been an amazing ride up until now whereby I've met some of my closest friends, played some of my biggest sets and during which I've had the best times of my life. Its also been a total honour to hold residencies at Judgement Sundays, BCM and Play 2 for so long - all of which have been hugely important in my career and I am truly thankful to have worked alongside and met all of the people involved in all these places. But now is time for a new challenge in Devine world. I'll of course keep you posted on the next part of this crazy journey ;-))
