Getting pretty close to closing, been relatively calm, but whatta da we think?
I'll start
Spurs, ins:
Woodgate, not seen him play much personally, however is rated highly, poor fitness record, obviously wants to play under Ramos, £7m isn't expensive, God willing could be a great signing, boy we need a central defender, like to see him play with Ledley!
Hutton, know nothing about, £9m lot of money for a Jockey right back, who plays hard to get!!

Outs: Routledge, looked good, not often enough, enjoy b'ham!!

Woodgate is absolute quality but rarely fit. Met him in Madrid when he was out for a long time injured and he looked like he had been up to no good!
However as said he is quality and on his day I think the best central defender in the country. If he and Ledley King had been fit all these years old John Terry would never have got a sniff.

Hutton is another good player from what I have seen, however I am not sure how good defensively he is. He likes to get forward but if you can't defend you will get punished in the Premier League whereas you can get away with against Partick.

his career at Ibrox started brilliantly, then he broke a leg and took ages to get back to form (especially under Le Guen) but in the last year he has excelled. You've got a cracker there. Sorry to see him leave us but for big buck, gotta take it

However you did get football genius Christian Dailly! One thing is you will always get 100% from Christian. A top fella too and well respected by his own teammates and other professionals.

woodgate is probably one of the most horrific people you are ever likely to meet. firstly, he is from middlesbrough, which perhaps more than any place in the UK, tells you a lot in regard to what his make up will be about.

secondly, how he got away with community service for what was a clear piece of racist thuggery is beyond me. the scumbag was even gloating to his engladn under 21 team mates the night it happened.

third, everytime i had the misfortune to bump into him in ibiza, as he's been quite a bit, he's always threatening people (or getting his "boro" mates to do it) for no reason, demanding the attention of an Hollywood A-lister whilst eating kebabs in the west end roll and being disgustingly aggressive to women who often did little more than walk past him.

he is a total c*nt and i hate him. :x

football wise, he is an outstanding talent, but so vunerable to injuries that he'll never be a great. despite LFC's defensive problems, i am so glad that i am not paying the wages of that racist low life thug. good job the spurs faithfull are all WASPs otherwise there may have been trouble!

If the likes of Bowyer, Barton & Klievert, as well as the serial roasters can be forgiven, surely he can!!
He played 90 mins last night, looked good!

Gunter also made his debut too!

looks like we have got benjani, which if it's true im happy with, hes up there with Kenwynne Jones & Roque Santa Cruz as one of the 3rd best prem strikers at the moment (behind adebayor, torres & berbatov) After watching last nights action, all our chances seem to be falling to Vassel, who lets face it couldnt score in Faces on a night out with Ashley cole!!!
