Streets had a real problem with his second album i reckon.
His first was so good and different, but the second has to be good but different again. He cant just do more of the same thing because then he'd be accused of being a one trick pony kind of thing. What was ground breaking then isnt now either, if the sound was the same it still wouldnt be as good as the first album. It needs to be different and a level up.
I can see how the second album is gonna be as good as the first to be honest.
When someone does something that different at the time, its nearly always impossible to follow it up successfully....
I guess he can do a lot of collaborations which is what a lot of artists do, but again thats a bit of a letdown and seen as taking an easy way out of it without having to do so much yourself...
