saw this last night.

In a word:

Absolutely farkin brilliant. Haven't laughed so much since i saw the show in NY three years back.

Everyone Must Go. Lee Evans is brill.
 
It's much better than the film .....

zero mostel was a bit too seedy and the whole thing with the little old ladies was a bit repulsive. Max has much more charm in the stage version.

Plot improvements include Leo falling in love with Ulla, a much better ending Plus you get the full 20minutes of 'Springtime for Hitler'. The director has been chaned from that weird hippy to the campest of camp director/choreographer.

the movie goes into production in the new year with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick. Eagerly Awaited.

Nathan Lane is great - loved him in The Birdcage....
