The season in Ibiza has kicked off again!!! Looking forward to a great summer is San Antonio beach bar - The Orange Corner. Situated on San An's beach promenade and over looking the Bay, The Orange Corner has been growing in popularity over the past few summers and has gained great praise from the media.
The Orange Corner will play host to pre-parties for Dusted @ Eden (every Fri), Milk'n'2Sugars @ El Divino (every Sun) & FILTHY gorgeous @ Privilege (every Wed). These promotions will be bringing some top DJ's to grace the decks and to warm everyone up for the main events in the club.
The Xpressbeats show on internet radio station www.ssradiouk.com will be broadcast live from the bar every friday afternoon 2-4pm (1-3pm UK time). The show will be hosted by Jamie Gittins & Lynda Pheonix from Xpressbeats.com and each week we'll be inviting guests down for a mix and a gossip!!
Not wanting to just rely on pre-parties and after it's successes over the past 2 summers, we'll be playing host to a veriety of 'One-Off' parties by promoters from all around the UK. The bar are welcoming back promotions from past summers, including Bliss, Immaculate Touch and O.C. favourites Brighton Rocks. These will be joined by over 25 other promoters throughout the summer, making the schedule very busy for the whole season!! It's great promotion/exposure for these UK club nights to be hosting a party in Ibiza and also great promotion for the bar as these promoters will be telling all back home where they're having their parties in Ibiza!! With every ticket bought at the Orange Corner this summer, you'll also recieve a free download voucher to be redeemed on established London dance music download site Xpressbeats.com, so you'll be getting a little more than just entry to the clubs when you buy a ticket at the bar!!
We also have some of the best home-cooked food on the island, a specialist Cocktail bar with all the favourites plus some unique concoctions, 90 sunbeds on the beach with waiter service and optional umbrellas and, after its success of last year, the back to the 80's TV theme will continue on the bars big screens with classics such as Magnum PI, the A-Team and Knight Rider.
Residents DJ's again this summer will be veterans Sean Hughes, Jamie Gittins & Charlie Jackett. All 3 are also residents for FILTHY gorgeous as they host the Coco Loco room of Meganite @ Privilege this summer. The bar also welcomes back PR superstar Matt Reynolds for his 2nd summer!!! The only new additions to the O.C. family are 2 monkeys that have set up home in the bar's 30ft Palm Tree over the winter!!!
After great Press last summer and over the winter, including a ´Star Letter´ in DJ mag praising the bar, this summer looks like it will better than ever for the Beach Bar that for years has been over shadowed by its neighbour!!
