Describe the place you feel that is most glam/posh to dine in or go clubbing in?
f.i me>: Bambuddhas Grove, beautiful setting and you feel like an asian princess when you enter!
Also: Love to go to AK Morgana for the Maroccan treat and to Los Dos Lunas for a romantic (expensive!) dinner!

Spotted over the years, the guy that played Arthur Fowler in Eastenders, Charlie Dimnock, the current cast of Eastenders, Aqua, Kylie, Boy George, Paul Merton, The Nolan Sisters and Jay Kay.

We were meant to go there in September but I it was the Weds after Underwater and I realised that fancy food would have been wasted on me, am def going to try and do it on a night-off next year.

I know I wasn't really fit for public viewing and I hadn't had a proper meal since Saturday so I feared too much fancy food might finish me off :eek: :p

I've heard the ambience and settings are beauitiful but the food is more than mediocre, overpriced :rolleyes: and don't go funked else you may be slightly unnerved by the amounts of elephants about the place :eek: ;)

I was told you would be looking at about £100 for meal, wine and service, so that's not too bad, only like Fancy London prices. My problem is that 99% of the time nice food is wasted on me in Ibiza lol :p

You barely eat anything bar small round things!!! :p

Well I meant 100.00 squid for mediocre food being overpriced bintafce! :p Its all about just going there, rather than actually 'mmm this food is fantastic' :rolleyes: But I would only be thrown out for chewing my face off anyway!!! :eek: :p
 
I seem to remember Stephen from this site said he went there and it was a letdown i believe and def not worth it...

No, I read it right. WIPS is one of the poshest places you can visit! :D
 
Ive been three times to Elephant over the last two years and it has been really good each time. A big group of us were there for their last big night at the end of September and we had a really good night. They turned up the music at around 2am and everyone was up dancing on seats etc. Think the waiters were off their heads all night which was quite amusing.

As far as "posh" restaurants go, I highly recommend El Ayoun (San Rafael) and Sa Capella (San Antonio - the old chapel north of town).
Both have great food and deco.

As far as posh bars/club go, La diosa and Mao's room are the nicest in my opinion.
Although I am yet to go and check Warhol in 4 weeks time....
