yeah we've got them........a stall with these orange rock salt crystal candles, a stall with loads of tin man type (wizard of oz) toys, a stall with loads of little intricately weaved dolls that just look like a nightmare to either play with or store and then some random stalls selling scarves/jewellry/etc.

Grego, here in Mallorca we say BON NADAL and when you say goodbye to people at Christmas time you allways say: Molt D'anys, wich mean muchos años. :D :D :D

Cheka -> NKVD -> KGB -> FSB

("chekists" persists as a slang term for security services personnel)

a little correction, in catalan you don't use "y" you use "i" . Just saying it cause I know you like to improve yourself. I also want corrections ;) ;)

have to say the lesson on the cheka in my history class at school was one of the more entertaining/gruesome - isn't putin a chekist

desgraciadamente, puedo leer 'catalá' pero no escribelo muy bien porque no he tenido un educación formal en esta idioma. Por favor, corrígeme :lol: :lol: sin embargo, a que probar!

it is easy to read catalan because it is like a mix of spanish and french (hablo un poco frances)

of course dzerzhinksy, my knowledge of random soviet apparatchiks was quite obsessive at one point.

aside from my fav - Lev Davidovich Bronstein, i always remember troika members Zinoviev and Kamenev and also, kirov (another gruesome tale of uncle joe's horror state)
