The end of month is now upon us and wow has it been a big month here at The Gallery. However it’s all set to get even bigger tonight as The Gallery plays host to The Official Afterparty for TIESTO. With Tiesto taking over Victoria Park, the world’s biggest dj is back in London with a very special 20,000 capacity show alongside the likes of Calvin Harris and Sneaky Sound System. Having spent many years playing for The Gallery at Turnmills, before went onto pack out some of the biggest and best venues in the capital... it seems only fitting that Tiesto has chosen The Gallery to host the Official Afterparty to his biggest UK show ever!
It’s only fair and fitting therefore to give the evening a right royal send off with a typically large Gallery line-up to mark the occasion on Friday 31st July. Leading the charge is one of our faves John 00 Fleming who brings his psy sound to the Box, whilst Giuseppe Ottiviani brings his Live show to Ministry of Sound for the first time alongside Dutch legend Rank 1 and UK sensation Simon Patterson. The Bar meanwhile welcomes DAT Soundsystem aka Anil Chawla, Dale Anderson and Tim Davison to hold court for another unmissable 6 hour session following their hugely successful debut last time in May.
John 00 Fleming leads the charge tonight and anyone present at his last appearance in May with Astrix or indeed Halloween last year will testify John is one of the best at what he does. A true pioneer bringing his years of experience, unwavering support for good music and a real, refreshing passion for the best music to everything he does. Whether it be the White Label Euphoria CDs that broke the mould in compilations, his outspoken views on dance music (much of which everyone is thinking, but too afraid to say) or his relentless gig diary to all corners of the world he is a purveyor of the psy-trance sound, we implore you to check it out!! Joined by Vandit artist Giuseppe Ottiviani who brings his excellent live show to the Ministry for the first time, a true production talent Giuseppe has been a consistent force in the world of trance for a number of years and his live show is highly revered the world over. Having rocked it many moons ago for us at Turnmills and with a bevy of new tunes and remixes in his arsenal he was long overdue a return to The Gallery. Dutch trance and prog legend Rank 1 makes a welcome return as well as Simon Patterson who continues to set the trance world alive ( 8 consecutive number one tunes in the Beatport trance charts!) sets up tonight to be a tour de force of trance!! Rounding off the main room is new production talent Frase and Gallery residents Gavyn Mytchel and The Viceroy.
The Bar meanwhile welcomes the second outing of one of our brand new residencies here at The Gallery in the shape of DAT Soundsystem. This new DJ concept has been brought to life by friends and now established artists Anil Chawla, Dale Anderson and Tim Davison – who all first met each other at Turnmills. The Gallery was rocked to its core by their debut appearance back in May and the talented trio as will again embark on a 6 hour back-to-back-to-back this Friday. Welcome to the future! Support comes from Jordi Sanchez with Spinning Quickly hosting the Baby Box and Chicaboom pumping it out in The Loft.
