Is just an unpretentious movie, to have a laugh!!!, to watch a sunday nigth at home. I couldn't stop laughing with this film, the first hour non stop. The last half an hour it goes a little bit down the hill, but not as much as to spoil it.
If you like fashion you just should see it for the clothes, shoes, bags and other clothes items they wear, is like looking a vogue magazine:D :D :D I loved it just because of this. Meryl Streep is fantastic!
Have you seen it?

I've seen it and loved it. Enjoyed it so much I think I was grinning to myself all through it and still grinning all the way home.

The clothes are amazing, I love that montage of Anne Hathaway walking through the streets of New York every day with a new, gorgeous outfit.

And agree, Meryl Streep is brilliant in it.

This is a film I actually want to see 8O But when I suggested going to the cinema this week with Tom (thinking we'd get there and I'd go 'oh look a film about clothes we'll have to go and see it  ) he informed me that there's a new Scorsese (sp??) film about horrible gangsters and stuff that he wants to see

I guess I'll just have to read the book

yess I loved it too, my wardrobe looks rubbish since this movie!!! I also liked a lot when Meryl arrives everyday and throws her coat and bag on the table and gives her a weird order, and what about when she tells her where is the note I had in my hand yesterday or I want you to buy me the table I saw in that shop in the x Avenue!!!! ( she was on her own:lol:  )

Keep meaning to see this but not got round to it yet. Might wait for the video as it's not really that necessary to watch it in the cinema :?

I have read the (half) book last month on Ibiza

Now I want to see the film, but they say in the german tv that the german synchronization should be not so funny ...... :(

The Departed by Scorses looks great. It's on my list of filmes to see before I go

I loved this film, and I agree the clothes were fantastic!

I did hear some girls in the loos after the film saying the book was totally different especially the ending??? Not sure what she means by that guess you have to read the book to find out

Just go by yourself or with your girlies; make it into a girls night out.

I don't think I could go to the cinema on my own, i'd feel weird... :?

It's like a self-indulgent little treat. You can go in the middle of the day and see exactly what you like and eat a whole tub of popcorn to yourself.

Having said that, I'd probably feel like a bit of a geek if I bumped into someone I know.
