These idiots who have been described and shown flashing their drugs around and playing it up are the main reason why the authorities think they need to take action against it.
For the vast majority of people who take a few pills on the island and embrace it properly there's no problems at all really. Do the authorities know anything about the effects of drugs? Or more specifically ecstasy? Because if they did, then surely they would be focusing on where nearly all of the trouble comes from - excessive alcohol. It's pretty clear that most of the violence, sex, etc. stems from people getting p*ssed up in the bars that throw drinks at them for practically nothing. Or those who mix alot of alcohol with drugs.
People will always take drugs in Ibiza.. instead of trying to banish them the authorities could try and raise awareness of the use and effects of the drugs and give advice such as.. 'If you do take ecstacy, it is strongly advised to not drink any alcohol'.
Those are my thoughts on it anyway
