do they offer guided tours (like 80s-sighseeingtours to the bronx)... conference on the dangers of "clubbing" tourism.
Around 400 experts will converge on the island in June (23rd-25th) ...
what a nonsense - these guys must have been freshman students...
... a survey conducted by students at John Moores University, Liverpool, at Ibiza airport revealed that over 20 per cent of those questioned came to the island for the drugs...
But it's the clubbers, that have made the island the way it is.
ibizamagic, statistics show that about 80% of tourists to ibiza are not clubbers.
an easy way is to use the power of mathematics.
13 week clubbing season * capacity of the clubs = number of clubbers (400,000ish)
visitors to ibiza 2m ish
therefore 80% are not clubbers.
obviously it's a body count. as i understand it the international recreational drug traders don't yet file p&l accounts with the tax authorities.
This arguement comes up in 60% of all threads (sorry can't prove this statistic). What's the issue here - clubbers vs ibiza residents, or clubbers vs well meaning supporters of ibiza residents, or clubbers vs the world? Or what??!!
so how do you explain this:Family & Co. isn't even interested in Ibiza
