carl cox will be djing at the opening next saturday (more info here)!!

lola's opened in the early 70s and closed in 1991!!

· now its a 150-capacity club plus a bar and terrace for a further 150

· on saturdays they will have the 60s/70s jet set themed party first class organized by the people of what's up? (space on fridays and also behind the new ciao rosina in talamanca and the ladies night parties at el hotel)

· on sundays they will have the hip-hop party fiasco! (global room @ pacha and also at savannah on wednesdays)

· their innovative music policy is: electroclash, RnB, hip-hop and the occasional dash of house

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there won't be no more post-Dc10 parties at Ciao Rosina.
They got busted the Monday before last (I think).

On the upside, none of the resident djs remain in the nick.

PS They've shifted to Lola's. "We play the best music on the island" - Tim Sheridan.

One of the progenitors of the White Isle scene, scene stealing scenesters were having it in Lola's long before overseas promoters first started mining Ibiza's association with intense leisure.

Right now on Monday night they've got NastyDirtySexMusic with Smokin' Jo and Tim Sheridan who were, ahem, moved along from their overly successful spot at Ciao Rosina, First Class with Kato and the What's Up? lot on Saturday nights, and more. The décor is white so wear your sprucest threads and don't spill anything.

Not to be confused with: the low rent Lola's in San An's West End which reportedly features "human bull fighting". Oh please god no.

Lola’s will be the luxury club of Ibiza. This is a rejuvenation of the the Lola’s that made Ibiza famous in the 70’s & 80’s . The people behind Space have purchased the club and plan to put their full force into making it be “the place to be”. This will not be so difficult as it is in Ibiza town, next to the Dome and has a limited capacity of 150 people.

Based around the concept of the jet set in the 60’s and early 70’s….”First Class” will be just that…exclusive VIP treatment for those lucky enough to be invited on board. Based on an airline theme, invitees receive boarding passes…those late to show up will be put on standby….

The venue will also be decorated and lit to reflect the theme of luxury and adventure….what first class travel and stewardesses were to those lucky enough to jetset in the 60’s
