Okay let’s spice things up a bit for the Xmas lull. In your opinions, what is the BEST club in the world? It can be the one place you had your best clubbing experience, or even that which you think caters to the most diverse crowd. Alternatively it can just be the one place that consistently rocks your world every time you go.

List your faves and the reasons why....
 
Until 2004 it was Amnesia.
At 2004 Space even out the odds and now stands at #1 along with Amnesia.
 
Must be BoraBora for me.
Eveyr time i went there it was good, better or best.
Space is is high on the list, but BoraBora is just that little different..
 
amnesia for me. i think it's really the best superclub ambiance in there. but of course, space is also absolutely great, the terrace awesome!

BoJangles , bottom of Drake Street in Rochdale during the 80's.

The full sad insular town clubbing experience head on.

Watered down lager and vinegar flavoured bitter, cheesy american west coast accented djs from exotic climes ie oldham, tight trousers with white slip on shoes and poodle perms set so hard they could have your eye out, the last dance, testesterone fuelled lads who thought 'dancing is for puffs' ,third rate professional footballers lording it in the bar, the pungent odour of regurgitated kebabs and splattered chille sauce . . . just bliss, absolute bliss.

Nah , its predicatable but for the sheer smile it plasters across my face 5 sceonds after walking in its got to be SPACE . . .
 
Definately Space for me :D

BoraBora is also one of my faves but it doesnt really count as a club does it :?:

SPACE - simply the best clubbing nights i've ever had

THE TUNNEL (Glasgow) - before it all went pear shaped there were some classic saturday nights with Steven McCreery & Kevin + Bob

TRASH (Glasgow) - in terms of atmosphere hard to beat, really good nights and such a laugh with the djs
 
Space is an obvious choice for me.

But, back in my home town i'd say The Arches (in the very early days of Gatecrasher i.e. pre trance/cyber) and Niche (in the VERY early days when it was called Nimmo's - was half indoor/half outdoor).

Quite liked the Canal club in Wolverhampton too. Is this still going?
 
Space has the best clubbing atmosphere. I've never been that overwhelmed by the design of the terrace, it was pretty plain.
 
Well that might change now Stuie. Does anyone know how different it's going to be on the terrace after they finish building? Apart from the roof, obviously.

considering it's all been demolished its all going to be different. we'll find out in erm... a few months :lol:
