what was this about!
I was undergoing a LONG interview with a temp office in London last week and the first form i had to fill out was ONLY about the color of my skin.
i mean: is this normal??
i had to fill in if i was black, mixed, chinese, white ect...and under the boxes i had to specify what i was exactly. if black: black-chiniese, black american, black this or that. whoa, it seems weird to do when London is so mixed. but maybe thats why they do it? i dunno...it just seems racial and innapropriate,
you tell me people, is this standard procedure.?

Yes, it's standard procedue in this country for any job. It's the opposite of what you would think, it's to protect against discrimination. It's so that they interview a range of people from different ethnic groups if possible.

hmmm one could also have a sneaking suspiscion that it was with the purpose of only hiring people from vertain ethnic groups and rule out others. it can work both ways.....
