Just wondering what clubs in Ibiza are most likely to play Tekno music?
I do like all different types of dance music, but Tekno is my first love :P

Cocoon on Monday's at amnesia - Sven Vath and guests

Tuesday's @ space - Carl Cox and guests

Wednesday's @ Privilige - Mauro Picotto, Liebing and guests.

Check the party calendar for the time your going, you can even search by DJ ;)

Sundays at Space, depending on guest, can have some techno too (Laurent Garnier, Christian Smith, Carl Cox).

Laurent Garnier is not always techno...

I know considering he's one of my favourite djs, but he usually does drop some techno even when he's playing more of an old-skool or party set.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't tekno and techno two different things? Tekno is harder en rougher than techno, tekno is more similar to industrial.

Tekno is harder than techno, similar to industrial hardcore, like I said before. It's predominantly popular among the alternatives, sqatters, anarchists etc.

on terms like: spiral tribe, teknival or tekno for more info.

Schranz has nothing to do with tekno, it's a style of techno introduced by Chris Liebing (he invented the name anyway). And it haunted him eversince, as some people (not me :) ) see it as some degenerate form of techno.

I go to a lot of techno nights and have never heard of this term, but obviously techno is a fairly large genre anyway.

I wouldn't say Chris Liebling is that hard anyway. Try Dj Rush.

And no, I'm not a squatter!

Probably because tekno has not much to do with techno.

http://stream.iiivx.net/listen.pls this link has some streaming mp3 tekno. Not bad actually!

I didn't say he was. (Chris Liebing is schranz, not tekno.) Although I would consider him to be harder than dj's like laurent garnier or Sven Väth.

Yes yes, the Major rules!! Seen him twice and loved him! Especially when he takes over the mic! Did you know he calls his mother after each and every set! :o And at his first appearance at I Love Techno he nearly refused to spin because he was to nervous, but his friend Marco Remus convinced him to go anyway. Apparantly he's hard from the outside, but soft from the inside.
