riding in the middle of the lane, and kept looking back constantly for his mate who was half a mile back as his scooter couldnt go faster than 30mph.

chewie_oo7 said:if youre in a slow moving vehicle, you're supposed to keep left so theres room for people to overtake.

always make an effort to swerve into them when I see them, or generally make life hard for them![]()

Do you understand that a little incident when you are safe in your car with all your belts and air-bags means nothing but that little incident in a motorbike could mean a disgrace?![]()

It also depends on what type of scooter you're talking about. If you've got a 50cc engine and can reach decent speeds of 40-45 miles per hour then you have every right to drive in the lane. If you're riding a 35cc engine like my old scooter and struggling to get above 25 mph, then I think it's best to keep out of people's way.silvia said:Depends, if it's an urban journey you should stick in your lane, if it's not urban journey then you did it well

Not cool, Jason...
silvia said:fair point, but same as there are silly mopped drivers, there's also inconscient car drivers. But anyway, it usually seems that car drivers forget how safe are them inside and how weak are motorbike drivers
