sunset strip help.

Hey heading to san an bay in August, 1st time back in 7 year. Really want a good night at the sunset strip with meal for a group of 5 was wanting some recommendations was thinking either mint, savannah's or mambo's. Understand there's a minimum spend is this per person or table? any idea how much? what's the best time to show up? Any input appreciated.

I booked a table for mambos for this summer end of august.. its 70euro minimum spend each for a front row table, 60 euro for a normal terrace table and 100 euro for the vip tables which I think are the ones infront of the dj box?? we went with the front row table and got a reply saying to be there at 7pm. Hope this helps a bit
