oh i totally agree. my point is that trance doesnt do that great. So if you have something else going on in the main room, you will have those going back and forth who are not there for Sunk. Hope Sunk pulls in a crowd to fill Vista Club up.

Vista is a good size for this night. Who could fill the main room at privilege realistically? Too many parties in ibiza these days..

Agree here. It's not that trance doesn't do that great. It does do well in the right circumstances. Regardless of genre, it's just really difficult to fill that main room. Any other promoter teaming up with Sunk to take on the entire venue would've had to guarantee certain numbers and there aren't many of these promoters about.

The running costs for the entire club must be huuuuge.

Privilege is one of those venues that blows your mind when you first see it and it's its size that makes it so impressive but, in today's day and age, it is too big.

There is a LOT of good quality trance on the island in 2014 something that has been lacking as a trance lover for the past few years. I personally will be going to a lot more trance events in 2014 than I have been to the past few years simply because the line ups are great and the DJ's I actually want to see something that the likes of ASOT hasn't delivered. In fact I'm supposed to be over in August with my techno mates and I'm struggling to find nights free to go clubbing with them. Happy days and I really hope this does well

I wasn't going to Crasher anyway as I've got the Driftwood boat party on the Monday followed by DC10 and Cocoon

well the problem is that the best trance days are on mondays and tuesdays-- cocoon and carl cox!

Yes agree there is always going to be clashes of styles and big parties in Ibiza. But missing Carl Cox is one that I just can't do in favour of this interesting sounding Sunk party.

a little bit hard to miss cox but am staying for three Tuesdays so this increase my chances of attending one sunk

I asked Sean Tyas about it. He said it was a great event. The crowd was still not that packed, but he said those that were there liked the event and he had a blast. Thats promising. Really hope turnout picks up though. Since a turnout really does make a difference in the overall vibe of the party.

but whats more important is the music and the vibe itself,

prefer a decent number of people, not crowded, and good trance music.

regarding sam mitcham and alex ryan, do you know where can i listen to any set for them? and what trance do they play?
