Sod labels.

Can't be ar$ed with Circoloco standard issue D&G/Marc Jacobs/YSL/Armani goggles this year.

Is there any way to buy nice independent designer sunnies in London please?

Don't mind shelling out but want to avoid all the brand cliches.

Any ideas?

i never pay more than a tenner for shades as I lose them all the time. When ever i try on a mates more expensive ones its like a revelation the lenses are sooo clear!

(although I do have one pair of Christian Dior shades... never wear them!)
 
I paid quite a bit for my Rayban ones but they are prescription lenses and the opticians are happy to repair / replace them for a very small amount when damaged it seems :)

Yep. Lost/broken 3 pairs once on holiday. Bout 400 quid down the swanny.

Just buy crap ones. Until the kids have left home anyway and I go on holidays that only involve staring out the window of the Orient Express.

There is also a shop in Covent Garden (near All Saints on the opposite side of the road) selling vintage ear wear. There have some really amazing designs in there! 8)

Was thinking more of a kooky one-off boutiquey kinda place.

I always seem to get my eye wear from Brighton and was thinking there must be somewhere like that in London (?)
