hi everyone! I just came back from ibiza, it was my first time and I am looking forward to go back... gorgeous island!
I had very cool sunglasses and I wore them in the pacha (just to look cool, not because of sensitive eyes 8) ). lots of people were telling me something that I couldn't understand because of the loud music, but they were referring to my glasses and seemed very angry at me... I took my sunglasses off and everything was ok (except that I didn't look cool anymore)
is there a code about sunglasses in clubs? or was I wrong about people being angry?
thanks for the answers
mary

Seems to me as you are one of these persons, who think the sun is shining 24 hours a day :D (just kidding)....

Here in Germany the very young party people still wear sunglasses at night while clubbing, but it is def. out out out IMO!!!

So I think these people wanted to tell you exactly I wrote upon.

Any other opinions guys/girls?

Hi there!

There isn't a rule about sunglasses and for the day clubs in Space and DC10, they are pretty much a necessity.

However, you do get quite a few people in clubs at night, who wear sunglasses and just stand about, posing. Chances are, the people getting angry with you thought you were just there to pose, rather than for the music.

It's a shame as you wear them because you have sensitive eyes, rather than to look cool. I don't know why people would be so rude as to have a go at you though.

hi clara...
I have to explain better.... I DO wear them to look cool  ! they are the only cool thing about myself
anyway, please forgive my poor english, but what does it mean
I don't know why people would be so rude as to have a go at you though.

I meant I don't know why people would get angry at you. You're only wearing sunglasses!

Each to their own and all that but wearing sunglasses in a club (except the day ones) is WRONG!!!! The only thing worse is people wearing wooly jumpers in clubs.

I put a post up about this last year and loads of people said it was because they had sensitive eyes, what a load of old tosh, at least you're honest mariamare :)

IMHO I will only wear to Bora Bora, Space & DC10 as i think that is the only time they are needed. I hate sunglasses but have really sensitive eyes when it comes to the sun. Wish at times though I took them to night time clubs as the state i was in........................................ 8)

i usually wear mine on my head or on my top or in someones bag to the night time clubs.

i NEED those sunglasses when the sun comes up!!! 8) 8) 8) 8)

I wear my sunglasses at night so I can:

(1) keep track of visions in my eyes

(2) watch you weave then breath your story lines

(3) See the light that's right before my eyes

I'd rather see someone wearing shades than their saucers rolling all over the place. I thought that was the point.
