Summer plans...fingers crossed I will get a place teaching on a July intensive course and I can spend the month in Barcelona, go to Pet Shops Boys with Sil, work on my tan etc. In August, catching up with friends and family around the UK and hopefully doing not a jot of work. :p

oh god - this year I have NOTHING planned and I feel very very adrift - this is sooo not me at all....

Everything is on hold at the moment while Phils business gets up and running, so I cant complain about that - we have had the sensible head on most of the year and decided to sacrifice holidays until he can feasibly take time off....

Only things for *definite are:

*This weekend - away for our anniversary

*SW4

maybe Portugal/Ibiza/Cyprus in Sept

Poss a later holiday in the year somewhere chilled and hot.

I'm soooooooooooooo excited about this summer! Got some great thing to look forward to:

19th - 23rd June - Sonar Festival
26th June - mate's wedding in fancy country house in Devon
3rd - 15th July - tour of Croatia inc Garden Festival!
end of July - possible girly weekend in Marbella
1st August - friend's wedding in Kent
22nd August - long weekend in Stockholm to see our best friends who are travelling Europe!
13th Sept - Robin Hood half marathon, Notts EEK!

Oooh, think that's it for now. Maybe an impromptu weekend in Ibiza for the closings, who knows ;)

Not as adventurous as previous years due to development of mini family:

June: 13th Harrogate - shopping and tea and cakes
14th Bamburgh - beach walks, paddling and sunday lunch
21st Talamanca, Ibiza - yeh!

July: 11th Friend's wedding
12th (AM) 10k Race (ulp!)
(PM) bro's birthday

August: 29th My daughter Mia Rose's 1st Birthday and on the same day, my big Sis's wedding

September: week in the sun as yet undecided, perhaps Kefalonia.
 
I'm looking forwards to the Awakenings festival (see www.awakenings.nl for the line-up Woo-HOO!) on June 27th which will be a nice warm-up for Ibiza.

Trying to enjoy the summer in Amsterdam as much as possible now that I don't have a boss breathing in my neck anymore! Maybe even celebrate my birthday this year which I normally never do.

THEN....27th July drive to Brussels with bf and fly to IBIZA for two weeks. An absolute highlight of the summer. After the two weeks, get back to NL and start suffering from the withdrawal symptoms and planning for the next trip!
