suggestions anyone?

Anyone have any ideas where would be nice to visit for New Years? Myself and my friends all wanna get away, and were thinking about Ibiza, but some cant afford it, while others can't get the time off work. We're thinking somewhere just for 3-5 days, where there is a guaranted party and great atmosphere, especially for hogmany.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)
 
I am sure you can do Ibiza for that.

Flights cost £178 rtn, you can get rooms in Ibiza for £40 per night.

Barca s one of my favourite places ever. And the flights are lloking pretty cheap. What about accom at that time? Easy enough to get something decent booked?

How many of them are you?? When we went there was a few of us and we found it easier and cheaper to book a private apartment right in the centre of the city - that way everyone was together plus you have a living area/kitchen/etc what you won't have in a hotel room - if you ask Sil she will be able to give you the name of some websites which rent out private properties.

I don't work anymore for the tourist council sorry :lol: :lol: ;)

woody, take a look at this hostels, sync (an old member from here) stayed there twice and says its perfect: clean, central and cool:

I prefer Gar - Raval than Gat- Chino but both locations are great.

Re private properties I don't know many but if you make a google search you'll find lots. I'll help you with the location

btw - whereabouts is that big cat statue that has a big tail that looks like a dildo and also can you recommend some hotels, bars, restaurants, places to visit, things to do, sporting events, musical activities....etc, etc for when we visit.

5 cosas for each category is fine!;) :p :p
 
i found flights to the dam for £89.

toss up between that, ibiza and barcelona - looks like the dam will win!

Where would you suggest for NYE, and for night time activities, I have been before, but never really saw much of thre nightlife as with the ex!

parties and events are announced late november and listings mid decemeber, but there's few good clubs and the Mito Party by Matinée on NYD
