Steve Angello playing @ Subliminal again this year - seems nothing changes much in the end !

^^ have to agree , i dunno who would still go see the guy , although much respect he's made short guys have hope for years!

First time on the island last year and i went one night. Nothing really exciting me to go back , same old faces and the music feels a little dated.

I think I will go this year just to check it out. Generally speaking I like Morillo's production, although I know it is a little too vocal friendly to be of everyone's taste.

Been going for umpteen years, so must be doing something right.

Plus I think having Chuckie as a resident is a massive coup for him. Might be a saving grace.

Again, I know with Chuckie you either love him or hate him, but I bet those Dirty Dutch parties will be amongst the busiest of the season on Wednesdays for Pacha.

Saw Chuckie a year or so ago and for a electro based dude he isn't bad at all. Guilty of liking a bit of cheese sometimes.

Morillo played a 10 plus hour set in Sydney many moons ago and was amazing. Proper banging tribal.

Ive seen morillo every year since i started going to ibiza and last year was so quiet, the first year i went is was as rammed as a SHM night no lie!

He'll be on his way out soon enough I reckon.

Sad but it just happens. See Sanchez.

I've seen Morillo @ Pacha, Sankeys MCR and at The Warehouse Project. Each time he has been fantastic.

It's interesting how long he has left. I'm not a fan, but respect him a lot. There is def a place for the dirty electro sound. Pacha need to think beyond him. Dirty Dutch /Chuckie might be the answer. However, if you look at all of Pacha's nights and they are always built around the person (exception of Defected).

Out of interest, have any of you been to Subliminal nights over the last couple of years?

Yes I went last year, it was just a good night TBH Nothing special :x. At the time there wasn't much I liked on Wednesday but this year i'm going to give Toolroom Nights ago at Space as i'm there for 3 Thursdays I will take one off..

going to see Morillo at Pacha was always a must for me, and I've always had a great time, a real laugh and nice vibes.
He used to be my utmost favourite dj, Ive seen him all over, but then I started to move away from that sound, and I cant stand the dirty dutch and jackin house bullsh*t.
I've taken a couple of years off from going to see him, but I may give it a whirl again, just for the crack. So long as Chuckie isntthere. :spank:

i saw Morillo, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano at Marquee Vegas and had a quality night. Not sure how different it would be in pacha.. Was planning to try out subliminal this year seen as we have got two wednesdays, but for me i think the Toolroom lineups are going to be toooo strong

On the 3rd of March? Thats the date I had seen him and honestly was quite disapointed. Although the Americans love the Electro/Peogressive House thing, I found the music quite a
Horror! Had seen Morillo on his Birthday Bash 2010 in Pacha NYC and that was by far better. He started to play more underground quality House towards the end of the night.

When i saw him in london last year, it was probably 1 of the best sets i have ever witnessed by any DJ!

he never bothered turning up.... we waited and had to endure the world famous Chuckie.... lots of people were annoyed that Morillo didn't turn up... even a few Mambo staff said they were annoyed...
