that sounds like a good plan. we're unsure yet what we'll be doing at night. if the weather is good, we will surely stay outside till midnight and enjoy the music on the stages. clubbing afterwards might be a spontaneous decision, but i've also thought about moving city and supermarket. and also the afterhour at q with ricardo. plenty much to do ;)

We'll be on the partysan boat in the afternoon. Let's hope the weather is fine

and we're on a truck - as every year.
yeah, let's hope weather will be fine again!!!!

in case you still have the same phone number, i'll text you at night!

it's already been ten days ago, but still - here's a small review and some pictures of this year's streetparade in zurich!

on saturday we drove into zurich city at noon time. i had the keys for an office that's situated very close to the train station and so we had a perfect place to leave our stuff and have something like a wardrobe and chillout zone. ;)

the weather forecasts for the day weren't too good. usually the weather's really good, warm and dry, when streetparade is on, but this year...errr, well they announced cool temperatures, clouds and possibility of rain...:?

so we were a bit unsure of our choice of clothes. but still, we put them on and walked through the city and found "our" truck. it was the truck where ferry corsten was booked to play. soon ferry arrived and we couldn't resist to take a picture with him... (see below ;) )

at about 4:30pm, our truck started and what followed was an intense 4hour set by ferry corsten while we danced away on the truck and through the masses...first, sun shone through the clouds, then disappeared again and soon it rained for maybe 20mins. we were lucky because they had built a roof over the truck so we didn't get very wet...
if you've never been to streetparade you can't really sense the vibe that is there. for me, streetparade is, apart of my annual ibiza holiday (of course), one of the annual highlights and i really love it. :D
we stayed on the truck till almost the end of the route (and till ferry had stopped playing and someone else was playing) and then left. went back to the office where we changed clothes (it got quite cool) and went having a plate of pasta - carbs, please!!! :D

then natascha needed her power-nap. i walked back to the parade route and to the stages where things were still in progress. catched a bit of above & beyond's set, saw a bit of ferry again (who closed the main stage with a cool laser show) and catched half an hour of gabriel & dresden who were playing at another stage (there were 4 stages in total).

enough trancey sounds for today. walked back to the office, woke up natascha, changed clothes again and off then to "moving city" festival. when we arrived there, we soon met some friends ("the two" on here) and when we got inside, we met ronny and diana again (read my ibiza review to get this story...). ronny's knee is better but not back to normal yet. "moving city" has four rooms and first we went to "tonimolkerei" floor, where âme was playing...we just listened to the last seconds of rej (hi judith  ) and stayed there for a while. then we changed to "halle 109" floor which was the best one IMO. we stayed there for a long time: first, we got nearly an hour of mirko loko - one of the lazy fat people guys - who played a wicked set. then james holden played for two hours and the set he played there was even better than the one i catched at cocoon/amnesia in july! but the best part of the night was booka shade playing live afterwards. i so love their stuff at the moment!!! 8)
after booka shade, oliver koletzki took over and that was the point when our friends left. but natascha and I hadn't enough yet. changed to "stratos" floor to get some of water lilly (great female swiss dj).

we left "moving city" at about 8am and then went to club supermarket for a bit of afterhours. the music inside was great - i loved serafin's set (another swiss dj, this one's hugely supported by cocoon), but natascha soon got tired and so we left at noon time.

crazy 24hrs in zurich - streetparade weekend always rocks!

800.000 people and no major incident; Switzerland is really civilised.
The funny story: This strange guy was touching girls' butt along the parade but too bad for him; he tried touching a female plain clothe cop arse, got caught and the police are asking for any victim to press charges.

Too bad we didn't meet; left supermarket around 9am, then Q; Magda was cool but too short
Waited for Ricardo till 12pm but I heard he showed up around 5pm. By that time we were in the train heading back home.
Luciano & Loco Dice played back to back the whole night with a live set from Digitaline; 2 guys on Luciano's Cadenza label.
Mirko Loko & Raphael Ripperton are the Lazy Fat People; they're wicked.
Mirko is the DA/ booker of Loft club/Lausanne; Luciano, Ame, James Holden are residents.
Check their line ups on www.loftclub.ch in case you want to make a move to Lausanne.
Off to Ibiza from 9 to 23 september.
Richie Hawtin & Luciano will be at Loft 6 october and Petter is on 2 september.
Voilà!

oh hell, so we really missed each others by little time...in fact we might have seen each other when you got out supi and we entered.
i heard about luciano and loco dice's b2b-set, people said it was amazing!

yes moha, i often take a look about what's up at all the clubs en romandie (weetamix, loft, d!, mad) and i'm always up to date concerning lineups etc....but unfortunately, i never made it there until now. but you're right, loft club looks really, really tasty!
