Computer Analyst / Software Developer for Royal Bank in Edinburgh (soon to be moving to good old London Town).
Yes, it's as boring as it sounds.

I worked with a guy who said 'innit' after every sentence and he was indian too.... :?

We took the p1ss and mimicked him for a while and he stopped....

wasnt gonna say a word.... :lol:

all my work mates wanna do (all 4 of em) is go home.

and none of em like house/clubs, yet im forced to endure the torture of sitting in the pub listening to one person speak for 3hrs.... :lol:

used to have a guy at the Manchester Evening News who would always arrive 1 minute before start time, I say this because we used to start at 9am some mornings and 8.30 other mornings!!! so he would come in at either 8.59 or 8.29??? 8O :x WHY?? If he can get there for 8.29 when he starts at 8.30, why cant he get there for about 8.45 when he starts at 9.00???? :evil: grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then!!!!

he would go to the gents, spray Lynx everywhere, put his tie on....cough up approx a litre of phlegm, wash his nostrils and then go sit down at his desk (the above process took approx 10 mins) :evil: 8O :x

what the guy here does.

does yrs take 10mins to make toast and tea, read his emails, download pics from his phone, b4 he actually asks for any work to do?

if i confront him about this its "im only paid to work 9-5.30pm".
 
in my previous job i took a spare pair of slippers in and used to walk round in them, soooooo much nicer.

Thats until my boss' dogs came and attacked them, then had to keep the shoes on - didnt fancy getting splinters from the old wooden floor.

Mambobird, that is disgusting!! Those people are probably mingling around all kinds of gnarly foot bacteria.

Have you guys seen the movie Office Space? Well there is a lady here at my office that acts exactly like the "Must be another case of the Mondays!!!" chick.... like annoyingly chipper and chatty at like 8 in the morning when I have barely woken up.... :evil:
