Stink @ DC10 cancelled....?

Gutted when I heard this had been cancelled but meant I went to Monza at Space instead with Lazarus and Chloe which was amazing. Easilly one of the best nights on the island.

Superfreq is quality but it'd mean it moving from Underground where it's free to DC10 where (while not as pricy as Space / Pacha et al) it bloody won't be. Gah !! :twisted:
 
well it wont be at underground. besides, whats 25 euros for a good night?

still no confirmation on this though, they were also lookin into puttin on free villa parties.
 
Bad, really bad news! This party was on my schedule too! :(

Another reason proving that most of the people who go to Ibiza would rather waste their money in big fashionable clubs like sheep. The island needs to recover people with another mentality open to new assorted things rather than the usual type of consumer tourists (I mean the people who spend, or waste, nearly all their money in the big clubs). This situation has to explode someday.

I don't think that's the reason why it failed. There was never any posters or flyers about saying who was playing each week, so unless you did your homework before going, you didn't have a clue. Plus DC10 is always going to be harder than saying Space to fill as it's more out of the way.

I think they just tried to run before they can walk - their night @ the T Bar is a real success but it's a big leap from going from that to a season in Ibiza. Should have tested the water first - back rooms/one-offs this season and then tried for a full season the following year.

Stink's failure at Dc10 shows the foolishness of starting a party in Ibiza without consulting the board on promotional tactics.
 
Personally I'd rather stick to an advisory role. But I'll go to the proposed Spotlight night if you can promise I won't leave sober.

But who would dj?
