stevelawler vs. deepdish

Hi I really love both stevelawler and deepdish...but they are playing on the same night on a thursday in ibiza. steve @ space and deepdish @ pacha. Will it be possible to make both events? This is my first time going to Ibiza so I have no idea what time they will go on at.

The space party looks like it will start at 8pm? and the pacha I have no idea...

Anyone with more experience can help a girl coordinate a long night of partying? :?:

All I can go on is my experiences of Deep Dish Opening in June. I'm not that big a fan of Deep Dish, I think they're ok but they've bored me sometimes but my b/friend is a big fan. But it was definitely my best night/set of the holiday. The crowd was brilliant in Pacha (like the crowd of old Renaissance days @ Pacha instead of people just wandering about, you could tell everyone was there for the music). Deep Dish were amazing, they played 3-8am, Behrouz played before them, it was one of those night when you just couldn't sit down for a minute cos you know you'd miss something special.

We have/had the same dilemma when we go back in Sept cos it's Lawler's and Deep Dish Closing on same night but after that night in June (and seeing them again play for 5 hours playing @ Ministry) there is only one place I'm going to be on 15th Sept :D

YAH i love deepdish. missed them this summer in london and in nyc while i was travelling. i would prefer to see them....but steve is great too. clubbing dilema.

I think Dr Mick said at Viva Opening Lawler only played for 2 hours (I might be wrong :? ) but if that's the case if I'm going to see a DJ's own night then I would definitely expect them to play for more than 2 hours.

I think as long as you've got some other Space fixes lined-up (ie We Love and a few carry ons) then do Deep Dish, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed myself so much @ Pacha :D

Loads of people leave it till late.

I get there when it opens.

Me too  Why waste valuable dancing time :D

Nycdahouse, as I said Deep Dish came on at 3 and that seems to be pattern for the rest of the summer but you don't get much better as Behrouz for a warm-up DJ :D

We could sit here agreeing till the cows came home

*(when do the cows go home btw? They always seem to be mooching around in fields) whoever made that expression up should rethink it!

Hehe I love sayings like that - who on earth decided when the cows go home  I've spent many a morning after a night out discussing when the cows come home, who is Bob (as in your uncle :? ), what are these 'rails' they talk about that we're coming off :? (I need to find them before I can come off them :? )

Hey NYC. I concur on Deep Dish. They're set at the opening party was absolutely awesome.

As for arrival times, I usually start making my way towards the club at 1:00. By the time you pay your bill at whatever pre-party location and make your way over there, you should get there just as the place fills up.

Coming off the rails is probably train-related... especially when discussing the UK inter-city rail system

The UK train system since privatization has been notoriously danger-prone, thus the special relevance of the phrase "coming off the rails"

I wouldn't say our rail system is particularly dangerous, well not anymore than most developed countries :? Altho I'm sure someone will quote me wrong on that.

My mum used to say it to me when I was a little pup-pess before all this privatization malarky 'Sar you're coming off the rails', I was like 'Mum just how me where these goddamn rails are' ;)
