Absolutely fantastic cds

CD1 is more house, lighter but tends towards acid house near the end.
CD2 is darker, a bit more prog

Light out 1 was more experiemental with sounds and re-edits

this Lights Out is all about representing a Lawler set including recent faves - Prophets of Sound - Tide of Dreams, UN 7 - RRR and a re-edit of Plastic Dreams :D

Bought this at the weekend and it's excellent. Makes a nice change from all the fluffy Hed Kandi stuff I've been listening to. :D
 
was excellent too but as the man says himself -wasn't really indicative of his sets at the time

rather for the LO Tour his sets were moulded to fit the mood of the cd

mix cds should reflect what a dj is playing out at the time and thats why LO2 is a brilliant representation of a current Lawler set
 
finally got it in the post. will listen to it tomorrow.

lawler has always been hit an miss for me. his nubreed is something that i can never seem to 'get into'.

dark drums was pretty good.

the first lights out was ok. there were tracks i liked, but overall it never blow me away.

(best tribal is DT's global underground Athens)

still, i'm looking forward to hearing lights out 2....

Can i just say that for me, track 10 on disc 2:

No Puedo Olvidarme - Java & Gabi Newman

....absolutely DEFINES ibiza for me this year. Class....sent shivers up my spine listening to that again!

I heard that tune literally EVERYWHERE in Ibiza this year....such a winner. Big memories of La Troya man.

got this yesterday. really,really like it. down and deep proggy, head funkin stuff.
Took me right back to Lawler's awesome sets inside Space this year.

Recommended.
