Banrock Station Sparkling Shiraz on a fawn carpet.

I'm armed with white wine vinegar, but whats the dilution/application :?:

Anyone got any genuine advise (its a rented gaff & need to shift this stain) :?:

not sure about white wine vinegar, but lots of salt over the stain, leave for a couple of hours, then take off with a damp cloth, a little bit vanish spray, and it should do the trick.

Cheers chick, have heard about salt so maybe I'll try that first.

It was suggested to put white wine on a red wine stain-as if Im gunna buy more quality wine to throw on the floor

second that!!!

a guy once spilt jacob's creek cab-sauv all over my sofa, he covered it in a kilo of salt, left it overnight and next morning most of it was gone, a bit of soapy water & vanish got the rest ;)

White wine really does work. My best mate had a housewarming - new place had a white carpet in the living room  She threw nearly a whole bottle of red on the floor in her drunkeness so I set to it with the white wine. Poured it on and blotted it off (dont rub!) Next morning I asked her how the stain was. She still doesnt know what I was talking about!

Theres a product you can buy called "Carpet Power", it comes in a pink/mauve/purpleish coloured round bottle. It says on the top "Shock, this product actually works!" It isn't lying.........it has so far shifted anything i've/anyones managed to spill on my bedroom carpets......wine, cola, fruit juice, vomit, ANYTHING. :D
