Spending Money!

Hi
I have never been to Ibiza before and I'm wondering how much money people generally take for a week? I'm going in July and planning to attend only two big club nights, twice and nice and urband heroes and then the rest of the week spent in the little bars.

Am i being a bit unrealistic in only wanting to take £400?

How much do you plan to take?

It is a bit of a personal thing but I aim on £100 a day per person.

I dont eat cold potatoes from a tin but on the other hand dont eat in flashy gaffs every night.

Yep, somewhere around £7-800 would be my call. Once you add in a few taxis, club entry / drinks and a couple of half decent meals you won't have much left, especially with the exchange rate.

I'm budgeting about £100 a day as well. I'd rather be skint over here for a bit and have enough cash to take away - I also don't eat cold tinned potatoes and don't intend to start!:lol: I would recommend buying your tickets through Spotlight before you go as well, then they are sorted and don't eat in to your spending cash.

If you are staying in San Antonio then £400 would probably be enough IMO.
You wont need to get taxis to the clubs as the nights you want to go to are in the West End.
I've spent £1000 in a week before but that was going to a big club night everynight and having decent meals. Budgeting can be done!

Im 'budgeting' for £100 a day aswell but my other mates are going with £500, better more than not enough to make the most of it :)

Our budget is 150 eur/day/person on average.
On clubbing nights we spend more, non clubbing nights substantially less.

I go for about £150 a day and that's with most of the club tickets bought beforehand. There will be a few days when i don't spend anything near that so i can have more on other days/nights. My problem is that for the first few days i'm there i go kind of nuts and last year we arrived Wednesday and went on a bar crawl and a boogie, Thursday night was Cream, Friday night was A&B beach party.... spent nearly a grand in 3 days.

How the hell anyone can spend almost £1000 in 3 days is ridiculous unless you just buy all your drinks in the clubs?!

Ibiza is probably the easiest place in the world to spend £1,000 in three days. If you are not counting the pennies it's not at all hard to have blown £100+ before touching down in Ibiza at the airport and on the plane.

I budget a £1000 - £1100 for a week and I am long, long way from flash. It must be easy to spend £1000 in a few days if you just don't watch what you are spending.
