Spanish public holidays

Please can anyone confirm for me.....:roll:

Is Thursday & Friday public holiday in Spain....my bosses in work are being mean and telling us that only Friday is a day off as our office block is open on the Thursday. They are really unfair sometimes....

I know that Friday definitely is but there is a big "ummmm" as to whether we have the Thursday off. Do they have the right to tell us to work both days?

I´m really peeved off to say the least as I´ve already arranged to go away to Huelva (yum strawberries there!) with bfriend & pals.:cry: And now I´m getting the cold shoulder from my pals as apparently EVERYONE in Spain is off and something along the lines of "bloody stupid guiris" you work with!:lol:

but by the looks of things no-one is there, the last post was yesterday lunch time. are you sure today isn't a holiday as well??:lol:
 
Friday is Bank Holiday, and thursday depends on the comunity. In Catalunya is working day but Monday is Bank holiday too. Anyhow, most people don't work tomorrow.

If you work in the touristic sector in Marbella then it's high season now tho:?
