in "subjuntivo imperfecto" there 're 2 forms: one ending in -ra and one ending in -se.

Is it possible to determine a most used form?

Thanks in advance

all my tutors have always told me that both are equally used.

however as a non-native speaker i try to use the -se endings with -ar verbs to avoid any confusion with the future tense.

e.g.

hablará - 3rd person singular (future)
hablara - 1st/3rd person singular (imp subj)

hablarás - 2nd person sing (future)
hablaras - 2nd person sing (imp subj)

i use the -ra endings with -er/-ir verbs as i find it easier to pronounce.

Totally agree with you grego, and the way to pronounciate that forms I think maybe are easier for you.
