Spam (?) club invites

Anybody else get, for example, a Glitterati VIP invite to pacha for last Saturday?

My hotmail account picked it out as spam and I suspect I've had others before too.

I never went but I assume these are nothing more than complete spam. Has anybody ever tried to use one (and if it is a con, will you admit to it?)
 
They should say where they are from & if you check out their site I normally find them to be legit... I'm using one I received for next weekend to very good effect! :D
