Space Opening Fiesta 2016

Whilst on the subject of Space opening being 29th May next year... I would assume that in a similar fashion to closings, both Amnesia, Space and DC10 openings will all be across the same weekend? If that's the case that makes the whole 'Opening Weekend 1 vs Opening Weekend 2' argument very easy :lol:
 
Alright folks, so with the opening party quickly approaching (yeah, I keep saying that to myself), couple of questions from my end as I never had the chance to do the opening before:
- How crowded does it actually get? Still space to dance properly (at least for the basic moves :p )?
- Related to the above question, are there any VIP retreat options to escape the crowd when it gets too messy for elderly people like me?
- Is the regular club area (besides the car park) open the whole time / just later at night / not at all?

very busy. 12 midnight to 3am very very busy, but before and after that bearable.

vip options - sure. vip tables on sale soon.

carpark open from start until about 2am

The club itself is open the whole time? VIP tables would be the regular ones sold at Space?
 
yes the club is open all the time, but not all floors are open right from the start normally. tables are more expensive and you can get tables either in discoteca, terraza or on car park. too early to talk about prices I'm afraid
 
I'm assuming we've still got some wait for lineup aswell Stivi? I'm expecting an absolute monster lineup for Opening and Closing this year given it being Space's last year.

I've booked up for Openings now... Can't wait :lol:
 
space are always late with line ups for their opening and closing party. be patient guys.
 
Nice video, my first time there was the month before.

I'm going this June including for Carl Cox opening but I hope to be there for the final lifting of the shutters on the Terrace.
 
Great Video with Johnathan Ulysses on the deck, an area with a lot of hits, Afro tribal House(i've discovered the track Dr kucho Greg-cross fertilizations of ideas salto through space 2002 compilation btw Disco House ...i remember this dj booth from Space :cool:
I hope there will be more House as TBH, the Lineup @ Space is not so good for an House music fan...can't wait for the opening :D (i hope to see the djs from last 2/3 decades, AlFredo Pippi, J Ulysse, Morillo, MAW,David Morales ... or the House last decade Dj such as Marco Loco, Danny Marquez... & not the last decade djs such as Luciano Solomon & so on :BoOOrRRINg!!!)
Opening 14 at Space it was very crowded inside, from 1.00 am to 4.00 am i've took a break from 2.00 am to 5.00 to chill a little bit...
it was good to enjoy the flight area the afternoon to 10.30 pm,then el salon with Danny Marquez, wot a shame only a few people in this room as Great House music was played with lot of classics, then Johnathan ulysses on 1er etage, then Marco Loco on sunset terrace but too crowdy, i ve make a break..then 4.00 to the end Marco Loco at sunset terrace....some drunk people nearly break my mood , i nearly had a fight ( i wanted to kill him, as i dont like rude people but i took a deep breath in order not to do wot i had in my minds :spank:)with spanish yound idiot that nearly shove me to have a seat...& 2 young drunken brits in front of Jonathan ulysse's dj booth , pushing u while dancing...:rolleyes:...i miss the flight area at night with Dubfire but i was quiet tired at this moment:oops:

wouldn't expect too much from the opening lineup though. 2016 as in last years space opening goes up against we are fstvl in london and movement detroit on the same day. judging from last years all the heavyweights are already booked there. we are for instance already got hawtin, väth, ame, marco carola, jamie jones, solomun, hotsince82, the do not sleep guys etc

Looking at the line up fstvl, these guys might not play the opening anyways going by past lines ups regardless with the last ever opening.

Expect Cox, Deep Dish, R Sanchez & hopefully Lawler + all the usual suspects - wally lopez etc.

The closing will have the more big hitters, hopefully some oldies thrown in for good measures ;)
 
With closing confirmed as 2nd October is there any info on ticket price? I've heard that they're gonna charge 200e a ticket :rolleyes:

Agree with some of what is said here - but don't forget a lot of the artists above wouldn't be playing at Space until late and WeAre is only a small day festival where they have small sets each. Nothing to stop them jetting across to Ibiza and heading straight to Space
